Roles and Responsibilities: J2EE, JDBC, WEBLOGIC
Skill & Job Requirements: Skills Required:
Weblogic App Server:
Should be able to understand architecture, various component
structures like container, transaction manager, user
management as concepts. Should be comfortable in file
structure, deployment structure of weblogic application
server. Should be able to develop simple applications using
simple Jsp/ Servlet and or Struts / EJB based application and
deploy them successfully. Should be comfortable in working
with file deployment descriptor and be able to understand and
modify the config / XML files.
J2EE:
Should be able to write programs independently. Good at
advanced J2EE concepts such as Distributed transactional
computing, n-tier J2EE architecture, Distributed Multitier
applications, Java 2 platform, J2EE components, Container
services, Container types, J2EE servers and Containers &
Application deployment architecture. Knowledge in J2EE APIs
such as EJB, JMS, Security, Transaction, JNDI, Connector &
Webservices. Good understanding of J2EE packaging, Common
J2EE design patterns, J2EE lifecycle and roles. Should know
how to use the inbuilt classes like validator class and how
to separate the view from model and controller in J2EE
architecture. Should have good knowledge of build scripting
and build tools like ANT.
Should have good understanding in following areas - DDL, DML,
Joins, Expressions, Operators, Conditions, Functions,
Clauses, Sub Queries, Transaction Control, Authorization.
Good knowledge of various DB objects. Stored Procedures.
Overview of Transaction Isolation levels/Concurrency and
should have applied in one or more application. Connection
Pooling.

implementation of small to medium non-complex components of a
project module. Works on problems of limited scope, through
usage of standard programming concepts and principles. Works
under high supervision/ guidance with frequent review of

programming languages.Expected to learn on the job towards
developing domain knowledge along with technical/proprietary
skills.
